Legal acts
The sheer size of public procurement, approximately representing 12% of GDP, makes it a driving force behind Lithuania’s entire economy.
In Lithuania, procurement policy is formed by the Ministry of Economy and Innovation, and implemented by Public Procurement Office (PPO) and CPO LT.
The Lithuanian Law on Public Procurement is the national act regulating public procurement and transposing applicable EU Directives.
Official translation of Law on Public Procurement is available with amendments of year 2018 only)
